Welcome to JB Hydroponics
JB Hydroponics, based in the Netherlands, has specialized in supplying sustainable growing systems and substrates since 2004. We support growers of vegetables, soft fruit, cut flowers, cuttings, and herbs with systems suitable for every crop and every type of substrate.
The benefits of our systems
Reuse of water
100% drainage water collection for maximum savings and lower costs.
Higher yield
Improved drainage, air circulation, root guidance and roots free of drain water ensure stronger growth and higher yields.
Ergonomic and efficient
Better working posture, faster insight into deviations and lower labor costs.
Internationally active with its own rolling machines
With nine of our own rolling machines worldwide, JBH is a leading player in growing systems. Besides the Netherlands, our machines are also located in Japan, Australia, Russia, North America, and Africa. Thanks to local production, we are also attractive to neighboring countries: the machine is close by, delivery times are shorter, and service is quickly arranged.
Fully automated growing systems: in collaboration with VH Systems
For fully automated growing systems, JBH collaborates with VH Systems, a specialist in internal logistics solutions for greenhouse horticulture. As part of Atrium Agri, we jointly develop practical and future-proof solutions that can partially or fully automate the cultivation process.
Using an advanced computer system, cultivation is centrally controlled, significantly reducing the need for manual labor.
Advantages:
• Less labor required
• Lower disease pressure due to fewer contact moments
• Efficient, consistent and scalable cultivation process
Currently, the systems are suitable for lettuce, herbs, and potted plants, among other things. In the future, we will expand this offering to include more crops and cultivation methods.
